Kate Moss for Topshop

So the new collection has arrived... instore today.
and it's beautiful.
Which is annoying because I kind of wanted to hate it... it annoys me.
But it's lovely. And the campaign pictures are the loveliest yet. Right up my street, girly, pretty, whimsical, lovely...
I'd like to live in a little bubble that was lit like that the whole time...
Love the beaded dress, £150 and the green maxi dress, £75.
ACTUALLY cannot face the crowds though. So much safer to order online...
Congrats Mossy.

High Horse

Right now I'm on the hunt for amazingly beautiful jewellery/accessories and hats for a fashion shoot on Friday and I've just come across this amazing hat from www.gabrielledjanogly.com!
HOW F***ING COOL!?!!!
I love Gabrielle Djanogly's designs. They're just fabulous.
This one isn't quite right for the story I'm working on but I just had to draw it to everyone's attention. It's from her S/S10 collection.
LOVE LOVE LOVE

Converse One Star

I had to put up this super-cool rainbow bright pic of the Converse One Star sneakers, re-issued for Spring/Summer 2010 in the same colours as when they were first debuted in 1974.
I love it.
£44.99 a pair! And great with some teeny denim shorts or skinny jeans.

Club Tropicana

Sorry for the lack of updateage this week... I've been shooting for a magazine in sunny Folkestone for the last 3 days with no wifi, eek.
But it's been lovely. And yes actually sunny. So I started trying out my new summer holiday wardrobe updates...
MY HAWAIIAN SHIRT
I ♥ the 80s and after doing a shoot 'Wham, Club Tropicana' inspired I had to buy a shirt... it looks so cool over a simple vest/cami with leggings or skinny jeans. Or over a plain jersey maxi dress...
Vintage is best. I got mine from Beyond Retro, they have LOADS of great ones in.
But most vintage shops should have a couple of goodies.
Otherwise try menswear departments on the high street, they look better worn a little loose...
Enjoy...

Isle of Wight

I'm going to the Isle of Wight festival! Woohoo.
Thank you H&M!!!
I can't wait... I love festivals. But I'm going to admit now. I've never camped at one. And even though I'm ridiculously excited I'm a little scared.
But it does give me the best excuse ever to buy H&M's gorgeously cool leopard print tent! Part of the Festival collection which goes instore 20th May... and a couple of the paisley print sleeping bags.
Ooh excitement!
I'll also be heading to the 'Marsh-mellow' pop-up shop at Whiteleys (Queensway, London). It's a totally glam, cool, all of that, one-stop festival shop, the only of it's kind. And there you can find these amazing Hunter boots which I'll also be purchasing... lovely.

Me me me... and my blog

Check out website www.goddiva.co.uk to see me and this very blog mentioned in my 'celebrity stylist' quote...
The site's great for a little GaGa style dress/dancewear glittery bits and just a little pick me up...

Love this website!

I've just discovered www.powderrooms.com.
And it's already one of my favourite new websites... it stocks loads of cool little fashion and beauty brands... all the latest must-haves. And some great little present ideas to, for yourself or fashionable friends.
Here's my top 3...
  • The newest Havaianas in the slim strawberry style
  • Butter London nail polish in Fash Pack
  • Evil cat coaster
Cool. Cool. Cool.

Minilicious

How cute are these rings...
Cookies, cake slices (also available in cupcakes, ice creams and flowers), they're the most adorable little trinkets, and SO perfect for gifts. They start at just £10.
All available from new website www.minilicious.co.uk, stockists of only the cutest handmade jewellery.
The only bad thing is they just make me SO hungry and REALLY crave chocolate. Oh dear...

Maxi skirts...

I've written here previously about how I REALLY wanted a maxi dress... well my new obsession is maxi skirts and I bought an amazing one at the weekend for just £25!! From New Look. I it massively.
But I've been having a debate on what to wear with it... anything to loose and the whole look is to long and voluminous... to tight and it feels dated. After a debate with fashion friends I've eventually decided on a kind of cami/delicate vest. Not to fitted and not to tight but that skims... in maybe a silk/suede?? Whistles have some fab ones. Then a leather jacket/denim shirt/something similar over if needed... sorted.

Printed trousers

I'm in the midst of prepping/styling up a shoot for the Scotsman on Sunday newspaper magazine at the moment... we're going a bit 70s, Bonnie & Clyde/Thelma & Louise roadtrippy inspiration... Should be cool and I'm REALLY looking forward to it.
And I've been dying to use these By Malene Birger trousers all season - and I finally can. I love the faded mustard-y floral (like cool old wallpaper!) print. SO cool. I'd wear with a loose satin vest or a cool little spring knit sweater. Adorable.
