The Marketplace and the Fairground

I am extremely excited at the new launch of the ASOS Marketplace!

*As we all know ASOS is just the most amazing invention ever ever ever. I honestly don't know what I'd do without it. And now it's even better. Ridiculously better! Making new emerging talented designers wares and independent boutiques accessible to all.

The Marketplace is set to be a new must-visit daily site for fashion lovers who can sell directly to one another, recycle their wears, visit the great boutiques (including Browns Focus. Online. Dangerous!) and buy pieces from new, up-and-coming designers and vintage specialists. And the designers are FAB. Check out Maria Moderna and Faster by Mark Fast immediately.

But for now I just had to give you a little preview of Fairground one of the independent labels, as I've been pouring over their stuff all morning. So fun, cool and happy. My favourites are above; love the names.

Boden Limited Collection

Everyone loves Boden don't they? How could you not? It sells the ideal lifestyle... Cosy colourful cardigans, pretty floral dresses, happy people with fabulous lives and shiny new cars and kitchens buy Boden. Daydreaming right now...

Well now Boden are also the latest label to launch a new Limited Collection, and it's, well, lovely. Aimed at a slightly younger lady - for when the perfect girl meets the perfect guy (rather than the main range which is totally for the perfect couple with the perfect family). It's along the same lines as Jaeger Boutique and Hobbs NW3 in a chic and sophisticated way and I like it. Especially the silver cardigan in the pic above. Definitely worth checking out. It'll be available on the website VERY soon so check. It. Out.

Colour blocking

It's grey, wet, windy and gross outside and I won't lie, it's totally depressing me. So enough. Lets look forward to Spring - new bright, lovely trends seemingly created just to make us happy. Yay.

My favourite Spring trend is COLOUR BLOCKING. I'm talking bold, sophisticated, cool brights. No kids TV presenter looks here please. The look was all over the catwalks like a big rainbow explosion. My fave way to wear is bright pinks or oranges with khaki shades and worn denim or brilliant blues and turquoises with nudes. And don't be afraid to clash colours as seen at DVF...

First thing on my brights shopping list is an Equipment bright pink shirt, £209 at My-Wardrobe (above). I bloody love these shirts! With a skinny/cropped cargo = such a good look. And look out for River Island's new season collection, they have some amazing blocking including some hot neons if you dare.

My Xmas Present

This is what I got for Christmas off my gorgeous boyfriend and I love it so much I just had to show you all. It's an Alex Monroe (aka my favourite jewellery designer) Three Feather Gold Bracelet. It's perfect - pretty and dainty. Now all I need is a few more so I can layer them up...
